Before any polynucleotide treatment with Dr Emma a full consultation will take place. During this session we can discuss the treatment options and any questions you may have, alongside your aesthetic goals so each treatment can be tailored specifically to you. There is no pressure to go ahead with polynucleotide treatment after the consultation, the main objective is to give you all the information you need to make an informed decision.
YOUR TREATMENT
If do decide to go ahead with your polynucleotide treatment this will performed by Dr Emma in her relaxing clinic based in Hale, Altrincham Cheshire. Appointments are not rushed, and care is taken throughout to make sure you feel as comfortable as possible. It is normal to feel a little nervous before your first treatment, but Dr Emma will talk you through everything and you can be confident that you are in safe hands.

AM I SUITABLE FOR TREATMENT?
In order to assess suitability Dr Emma will discuss your concerns and perform a facial assessment during the consultation at her Cheshire based clinic. At this point she will also review your medical history to check there are no contraindications to treatment. You may not have polynucleotides if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

IS THERE ANY DOWNTIME FOLLOWING TREATMENT?
Downtime is minimal for this treatment. Slight bruising may occur from the treatment which can be covered with makeup if needed the day after. You may also get some mild swelling in the area which will settle after a few days.
HOW PAINFUL IS THE TREATMENT?
Many people describe the treatment as a ‘mild sting,’ and find it very comfortable. We use the smallest needles available to make the process as painless as possible.
